With over 20 years of experience in musical instrument repair, Mark has helped service Milwaukee area schools and independent musicians, repairing not just many instruments but many different types of instruments for the last 20+ years. Mark attended and completed the Strings 1 & 2 courses through NAPBIRT University and also attended and completed the Mohawk Touch-Up and Repair Workshop. Mark specializes in orchestral, fretted, percussion, and minor electronics repairs and is furthering his education in brasswind repair.  From basic setups all the way to neck replacement and full re-fret jobs, Mark has the skills to tackle just about any repair challenge.  He is a very humble guy; his general knowledge and attention to detail are second to none.  Mark's primary instrument is drums, and he enjoys gigging with Riding Shotgun, hailing from Milwaukee.  In his off time, Mark enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Meg, and their children, Jack and Molly.

Molly Brehm is our newest technician here at Voigt Music Center. Molly is a graduate of Minnesota State College Southeast with a diploma in Band Instrument Repair. She is in her 3rd year of instrument repair and focuses primarily on woodwind instruments. Molly is detail oriented in her work to ensure your instrument is playing smoothly and sounding exactly as it should.

As a performer, Molly has been playing flute for 8 years & the clarinet for 3 . Her performance experience aids her in identifying problems and ensuring the precision of her repairs when playtesting an instrument. Outside of the world of music Molly enjoys spending time outdoors going hiking, kayaking and camping.

Ultrasonic Cleaning for Band Instruments

Several years ago, we invested in an Omegasonics Music Pro Plus ultrasonic cleaner, and it was one of the best investments we have ever made.  Instead of using harsh chemicals and solvents to clean band instruments, we use an environmentally friendly and very thorough ultrasonic cleaner whenever possible.  Thorough cleaning is the first step in sanitization and will also help keep your horn in great working order for years to come, saving on routine maintenance issues.
